Debby Friday is a musical artist born in Nigeria but relocated to Canada at a young age. She is best known for her first album “Good Luck”, which won the Polaris Music Prize. Her passion for music started at a young age and after completing school, she started DJ’ing at parties in North America. After one year, she switched from DJ’ing to producing music. She released a few tracks before issuing his first EP “Bitchpunk”.
In 2018, she relocated to Vancouver from Montreal, where she collaborated with artists like DJ Haram and Bonaventure. She would later produce the “Death Drive” EP, which was released in 2019 by Deathbomb Arc. The following year, she wrote the original score of the film “Bare Bones”. In 2021, she dropped the singles “Focus” and “Runnin”. Her debut album “Good Luck” was issued in March 2023.
