Born in December 24, 1998, Declan Benedict McKenna, is from Hertfordshire, United Kingdom. He emerged in the music scene back in 2014 with his politically charged “Brazil.” The young British indie singer/songwriter had a few self-released tracks, uploading all of them in his Bandcamp page in the web.
His music is a blending of textural lo fi and bright indie pop which made his “Brazil” become a hit in 2015. It helped McKenna to become a big star, as he was able to take home the Emerging Talent prize from Glastonbury Festival. In November 2016, his second single “Paracetamol” was released.
