Digitalism Bio
Digitalism is a German electro house duo that was formed in 2004 in Hamburg, Germany. The founding members of the band are Jens Moelle (also known as Jence) and İsmail Tüfekçi (who is also referred to as Isi).
The duo was initially signed to French label Kitsuné Music and they have remixed tracks for several musicians including The Presets, Tom Vek, The Futureheads, Daft Punk, Tiga, Klaxons, White Stripes, Monk, Depeche Mode, and Cut Copy. The duo also issued a re-edit of Fire in Cairo by The Cure (entitled Digitalism in Cairo). Some of Digitalism’s tracks and remixes are played by popular DJs such as Erol Alkan, Soulwax, Boys Noize and Justice.
The duo has appeared in festivals such as Coachella, Lollapalooza, South by Southwest, Rhythm and Vines, and Ultra Music Festival as well as various clubs worldwide. The full-length album effort includes 2016's Mirage and 2019's JPEG, and 2020's Reality 2.
