Douglas Costa Bio
Douglas Costa de Souza, popularly known as Douglas Costa, is a Brazilian professional football player who plays as a winger and was born on September 14, 1990, in Sapucaia do Sul, Brazil. He began his professional career in 2008 playing for Gremio before being sold to Shakhtar Donetsk in 2010. He played in Ukraine for over 5 years during which he won the Ukrainian Cup and the Super Cup.
He was sold to Bayern Munich in 2015 and there he won local titles. He was then loaned to League A team Juventus where he won two consecutive league titles and the Supercoppa Italiana. He is currently playing for Gremio on a loan. He also has an interesting international career being part of Brazil’s national team, having played in the 2018 FIFA World Cup held in Russia.
