Duncan Mighty is a Nigerian musician, singer, and music producer born in Port Harcourt, Nigeria on October 28, 1983. Most of his songs are sung in his native Ikwerre dialect of Igbo language and include sounds from his culture. He started his music career playing drums in church and was the choir director. In 2006 he co-founded the record label AireMighty Records and in 2008 released his debut studio album titled Koliwater. He released his second studio album in 2010 titled Ahamefuna (Legacy) and in 2011 was nominated for three Nigeria Entertainment Awards and won Indigenous Artist of the Year. His third studio album Footprints was released in 2012 and featured artists like Shaggy, Timaya, Wande Coal, Sandaz Black, and Otuu Sax. In 2014 he released his fourth studio album titled Grace & Talent that features the artists Phyno, Tick Lips, Patoranking, and Yemi Alade. He released his fifth and most recent album The Certificate in 2016.
