Dustin O’Halloran Bio

Dustin O'Halloran is an American pianist and composer born on September 8, 1971 in Los Angeles, California. Dustin learned how to play the piano at Sancta Monica College where he also met Sara Lov and started Dévics. The members of the band were Dustin O'Halloran (guitar/keyboards), Sara Lov (vocals), Ed Maxwell (bass), and Evan Schnabel (drums). 

Dévics released four albums and six singles from 1998 to 2006. Dustin released his first two albums Piano Solos (2004) and Piano Solos 2 (2006) on Bella Union. He composed the score for filmmakers Sofia Coppola's Marie Antoinette, director William Olsen's An American Affair (2009), and director Drake Doremus' feature Like Crazy (which won an award at the Sundance Film Festival in 2011). In 2011, Lumiere, his debut album for Fat Cat’s orchestral 130701 was released and it met stellar reviews. He and Adam Wiltzie made their debut A Winged Victory for the Sullen and the follow-up Atomos in 2014. 

Dustin won an Emmy for his theme music in Golden Globe-winning series Transparent. Jeffrey Tambor starred in the series.
