Adam Joseph Copeland (popularly known with the moniker EDGE) is an American actor and retired professional wrestler who was born on October 30th, 1973 in Orangeville, Ontario, Canada. He was born and raised in Canada.
Adam wrestled for more than two decades in the WWE as EDGE. He became the youngest wrestler ever to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in March 2012. EDGE won 31 championships overall in the WWE including 11 world heavyweight championships.
As an actor, he starred in the fifth season of Haven on Syfy, and also appeared as a recurring character on the hit series Vikings. He appeared also in Highlander: Endgame and starred in the WWE-produced Bending the Rules. As a New York Times bestseller, he wrote his own autobiography Adam Copeland on Edge.
