Ndivhuwo Elaine Mukheli, better known by her stage name Elaine, is a South African singer and songwriter who performs soul and R&B music. She was born in Pretoria, South Africa, on April 2, 1999.
Elaine began writing music and competing in singing competitions at a young age, but she began her music career in 2019 with the release of her debut single Slip Away. She became famous later that year when her hit single You’re The One received millions of plays across multiple streaming platforms.
Elaine’s discography now includes the hit singles Shine, Right Now, Changes, Risky, I Just Wanna Know, and the album Elements. Her music was featured in the album Now That’s What I Call Music, Vol. 83, alongside Jason Derulo, Justin Bieber, Quavo, and The Weeknd.
