Eliot Sumner Bio
Eliot Paulina Sumner (nicknamed Coco) is an Italian-born British singer, songwriter and actor who was born on July 30th 1990 in Pisa, Italy. His dad was Gordon Matthew Sumner (aka Sting) and his mother was Trudie Styler, and Sumner was raised in Wiltshire, England, United Kingdom. Sumner assembled the band I Blame Coco when he was eighteen years old. The other members of the band were Emlyn Maillard (keyboardist) and multi-instrumentalist Al Shux (who also produced Jay-Z’s Empire State of Mind in 2009). The band dropped their debut album The Constant in 2010, which was later followed by the EP The Information. Sumner’s solo full-length Information appeared in January 2016 which included some songs from his band’s The Information EP. As an actor, he is known for his work on Filth (2013), No Time to Die (2021) and The Gentlemen (2019).
