Ellie Kemper, whose real birth name is Elizabeth Claire Kemper, is an American actress and comedian who was born on May 2, 1980, in Kansas City, Missouri. She debuted in the entertainment industry in 1999 when she appeared on the stand-up comedy show “Neutrino” in 1999. After some years participating in movies and TV shows including “Sexual Intercourse: American Style”, “Redeeming Rainbow” and “Mister Glasses” she got her breakthrough in 2009 when she started playing Erin Hannon in the famous comedy show “The Office”, starring Steve Carell, Jenna Fischer, and John Krasinski. She then appeared in some movies including “21 Jump Street” in 2012 and “Bridesmaids” in 2011 after getting her next big role, which was starring in the 2015 tv series “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” opposite Jane Krakowski and Tituss Burgess. For this role she received awards at the Gracie Allen Awards and The Webby Awards.
