Frank Caliendo Bio

Frank Caliendo is an American stand-up comedian born in Chicago, Illinois, in 1974. After attending college in Wisconsin, he moved to L.A. and worked for the comedy series “The Hype” at The WB network. In 2001 Caliendo started making appearances on the Fox series “MADtv”, a role that earned him national exposure until 2005. In 2003, the comedian replaced Jimmy Kimmel as the host of the comedy section in Fox NFL Sunday, where he was notorious for his impression of sports commentator John Madden. Caliendo started hosting his own comedy show “Frank TV” for TBS in 2007, the same year he was invited to the White House Correspondents Dinner as a comedy impersonator of President George W. Bush. It was also the year he made an appearance in the feature film “The Comebacks”. Caliendo’s stand-up acts have been featured in The Late Show with David Letterman, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, and The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, among other TV shows, and in more than 20 American radio shows.
