Frazey Ford, born Frazey Obadiah Ford, is a Canadian actress, singer, and songwriter who was born on February 11, 1973, in Castlegar, British Columbia. She began her career in the music industry creating the folk trio band The Be Good Tanyas alongside Samantha Parton and Trish Klein in 1999. With them she released her first album titled Blue Horse in 2001, followed by Chinatown in 2003 and Hello Love in 2005. By the 2000’s decade end, the band had dissolved after a successful career and Frazey began to work on her first solo album, which she co-produced alongside John Raham. The album was titled Obadiah and was released in 2010, which was followed by the Indian Ocean in 2014. Her third album was called U Kin B the Sun in 2020 after she signed with Canada's Arts + Crafts record label.
