Garrett Temple Bio

Garrett Temple, whose birth name is Garrett Bartholomew Temple, is an American professional basketball player who was born on May 8, 1986, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He began his career as a player for the Louisiana State University Laboratory School, located in his hometown. His career continued in college for the Louisiana State University’s team. In 2009, he declared for the NBA draft, but was undrafted. This led to Garrett joining the Houston Rockets. In November 2009, however, he was acquired by the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. In the following year, he signed a contract with the Spurs for the season. From 2012 until 2016, he played for the Washington Wizard. In 2016, however, he signed with the Sacramento Kings. In 2018, he was traded to the Memphis Grizzlies.  He later played for the Los Angeles Clippers, the Brooklyn Nets, the Chicago Bulls, and he was later traded to the New Orleans Pelicans, his current team.
