Gianluca Vacchi Bio
Gianluca Vacchi was born in Bologna, Italy on August 5, 1967. He is best known as Grandpa Playboy. He is the son of Industria Macchine Automatiche S.p.A.’s CEO. He joined the family business at 25 after obtaining a degree from the Studiorum University of Bologna. He held various positions in the company including being the President, Non-Executive Director of IMA and the Director of Finance.
Vacchi decided to hit social media when he was 48. He danced to a song with his partner Giorgia Gabriele and the video went viral. He has more than 11 million followers on Instagram, and he has also released several singles including Trump-It. He also started DJing at 49 which is why many people refer to him as Grandpa Playboy.
