Giorgian de Arrascaeta Bio
Giorgian Daniel de Arrascaeta Benedetti, better known as Giorgian de Arrascaeta, is an Uruguayan professional soccer player who plays as an attacking midfielder in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A. He was born in Nuevo Berlín, Uruguay, on June 2, 1994.
Giorgian spent his formative years with the youth setup at Defensor Sporting, and he turned professional in 2012 when he signed with their senior squad. He has since represented Cruzeiro and Flamengo, and throughout his time with Flamengo, he has played alongside Gabriel Barbosa, Arturo Vidal, David Luiz, and Filipe Luís.
His career highlights include winning the Uruguayan Primera División, Copa do Brasil, Campeonato Mineiro, Copa Libertadores, and Recopa Sudamericana.
