Goatwhore Bio
Goatwhore is an American blackened death metal band formed in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1997. The current members of the band are L. Ben Falgoust II on lead vocals, Sammy Duet on backing vocals and guitars, James Harvey on bass guitar, and Zack Simmons on drums. In 1998 they released a demo titled Serenades to the Tides of Blood. They released their debut studio album in 2000 titled The Eclipse of Ages into Black and have since released the albums Funeral Dirge for the Rotting Sun, A Haunting Curse, Carving Out the Eyes of God, Blood for the Master, Constricting Rage of the Merciless, and Vengeful Ascension. In 2003 they released a split EP with Epoch of Unlight. They have released their albums and music through the labels Metal Blade and Noise.
