Guilherme Arantes Bio

Guilherme Arantes (born on July 28, 1953, in São Paulo, Brazil), is a renowned Brazilian singer-songwriter and pianist. He developed a passion for music at an early age and began playing the piano as a child. Arantes studied harmony and classical piano, which laid the foundation for his musical career.

Arantes' career took off in the 1970s when he gained recognition for his songwriting and performing skills. He became one of the leading figures in the Brazilian pop-rock scene.

Throughout his career, Arantes released numerous successful albums and composed many popular songs. Some of his most well-known hits include "Meu Mundo e Nada Mais," "Cheia de Charme," and "Planeta gua." His music is characterized by catchy melodies, heartfelt lyrics, and a blend of pop, rock, and MPB (Música Popular Brasileira) influences.

Guilherme Arantes has received several accolades and recognition throughout his career. He was awarded the APCA (Associação Paulista de Críticos de Arte) Revelation Prize in 1976 and has been honored with the Prêmio Sharp and Prêmio Multishow Awards, among others.
