Hard Working Americans Bio

Found in 2012, the Hard Working Americans was formed by Todd Snider. After Snider finished everything about his tours for his solo album “Agnostic Hymns & Stoner Fables,” he did a conversation with Great American Taxi keyboardist and friend Chad Staehy. That event then led to Snider thinking of forming a group of people who has the same taste and vintage music as he does.

The Hard Working Americans was then formed by Snider, Staehly, Neal Casal, Dave Schools, and Duane Trucks – all coming from different bands. They sang cover tunes for their first album. Their debut was held on December 2013 at Denver, Colorado during a benefit concert. Their “The First Waltz” live album was released in 2014.
