Harrysong Bio
Born as Harrison Tare Okiri, Harrysong is a Nigerian performer, versatile singer, instrumentalist, and songwriter who attained fame and recognition after the release of his song which was a tribute to Nelson Mandela. He is associated with the genres of R&B, Afropop, highlife, dance hall, and African hip-hop. Also known as Mr. Songz, Harrysong began his career singing as a congrarist in a church and went on to perform at nightclubs before attaining fame. He gained popularity with the release of his songs ‘I’m In Love’ and ‘Taiye Kehinde’. Harrison’s debut album called Testify was released in 2012. His tribute to Nelson Mandela was recognized as the Most Downloaded Caller Tune at The Headies 2013. Some of his popular songs include Better Pikin, Colombo, Ofeshe, and Comsa.
