Haylie Duff is an American actress, singer, songwriter, television host, writer, and fashion designer born in Houston, Texas on February 19, 1985. She is best known for her roles in the television shows 7th Heaven and Lizzie McGuire and for her roles in the films, Napoleon Dynamite, Love Takes Wing, and Love Finds a Home. In 1997 she made her debut on television in the show True Women and continued landing roles in the shows The Amanda Show, Chicago Hope, Boston Public, One on One, Joan of Arcadia, 7th Heaven, The Secret Life of the American Teenager, Massholes, Real Rob, and others. She also made her film debut in 1997 in the film Hope and has since had roles in the films Addams Family Reunion, Napoleon Dynamite, Material Girls, I Love Your Work, Tug, Video Girl, Fear Island, My Sexiest Year, The Lost Episode and more. Duff has also had roles in the stage productions Hairspray and Love, Loss, and What I Wore. In 2004 she released her debut single titled “Our Lips Are Sealed.” She has been a featured artist on a number of other songs. Duff released her debut book in 2013 titled Real Girl’s Kitchen. Throughout her career she has been nominated for several awards and has won a Young Artist Award, a Teen Choice Award, and a Stellar Award.
