Benjamin Jared Miller, Jake Duzsik, John Famiglietti, and Jupiter Keyes are the band members who make up the noise rock band known as HEALTH. They all hail from various locales, including Seattle, San Diego, and Los Angeles, where they now call home. After the band's third album, Death Magic, was released in 2015, Keyes quit the group. The group first gained attention in the late 2000s Los Angeles experimental rock scene with their pounding but nuanced 2007 self-titled debut. They honed this sound throughout the years, allowing their synth pop inspirations shine through on Death Magic and adding trap and industrial elements to Vol. 4:: Slaves of Fear. Purity Ring, Ghostemane, Lamb of God, and Nine Inch Nails were among the artists with whom HEALTH collaborated to highlight the diversity and complexity of their music.
