Hooverphonic Bio
Hooverphonic, originally Hoover, is a Belgian band that was originally formed decades ago in October of 1995. Though the band has lost and replaced several members it is currently composed of Alex Callier who is a bass guitarist and also plays keyboard and programs, Raymond Geerts who is the lead guitarist, and Luka Cruysberghs, who is the lead vocalist since 2018. Their musical style is said to be cross-genre, ranging from alternative to electronica, electropop, rock, and others. Their latest album is called ‘Looking for Stars’ and was released in 2018. The group will also be representing Belgium in the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest that will take place in Rotterdam, a city in the Netherlands.
