Irfan Pathan Bio
Irfan Pathan is a cricketer and actor born on 27th October 1984 in Gujarat, India. He was part of the Indian cricket squad that won the ICC Champions Trophy in 2013. He started playing cricket at an early age, but it was not until age 19 that he was named to the national squad. Although his performance was good, he was not considered special, so he was dropped from the squad for ODIs and Tests in 2006.
Pathan was later named the 2004 ICC Men's Emerging Player of the Year by the International Cricket Council (ICC). In 2004, he helped India win ODI and Test series in Pakistan. His performances improved, and he rose to number 2 in the ICC's ODI rankings. In 2007, he played in the inaugural World Twenty20. He was also recalled to the Test squad in the same year. In 2015, he participated in the dance reality television show "Jhalak Dikhhla”.
