Ishod Wair Bio
Ishod Wair is a professional skateboarder born on 1st November 1991 in New Jersey, United States. He started skateboarding at the age of 9. Over the years, he played other sports before finally choosing skateboarding as the sport to focus on. In 2009, he attended the amateur skateboarding contest 36 Tampa AM, in Tampa, Florida. He reached the semi-finals of the competition. Following his outstanding performance at Tampa Am, he started receiving free skateboards from Real Skateboards for over a year before adding him to the amateur team.
Wair turned pro in 2011. Two years later, Skateboarding magazine Thrasher named hum their Skater of the Year. He made his inaugural appearance at a Super Crown event, finishing second. His signature shoe, The Sb Dunk Low Pro “Ishod Wair”, was released in 2016 in collaboration with Nike. In 2022, Nike released Wair’s unique signature shoe, the Nike SB Ishod Wair.
