Jack Garratt Bio

Jack Garratt, a genre bending mix of many music trends, is a  singer from Little Chalfont, Buckinghamshire, England, started writing songs at 12 years old. He created them on his laptop and began experimenting, eventually producing the song ‘I Couldn’t Want You Anyways’ in the year 2014. The song became popular online around the UK and he was invited to play at festivals in the area. Later in 2014, he released Remnants on label Beyond Island records. The following EP,  Synesthesia  was produced on Interscope Records in 2015 after that the LP Phase was released. Garrett has been on tour for most of 2016 and during that year he won BBC’s Music Sound of 2016 poll, a list of artists to watch that year as well as BBC Music Introducing Artist of the Year Award in December 2016. Huw Steven, a Radio 1 DJ it says “Jack Garratt is an incredibly exciting artist.” Anna Karatziva of MTV networks predicts big things for Jack .She says “I first saw Jack perform at the Great Escape in Brighton and was blown away with his performance.”
