Rapper Jadakiss (born Jason Phillips)began as a member of the Ruff Ryders in 1999. Later, he paired up with The LOX, and continued to dabble in both groups. His debut solo album, ‘Kiss tha Game Goodbye,’ was released in 2001 and featured collaborations with The Alchemist, DMX, Eve, and Snoop Dogg. His hit, ‘Why (featuring Anthony Hamilton)’ hit No. 11 on the Billboard Hot 100. In 2007, Jadakiss signed to Roc-A-Fella Records, where he collaborated with DJ Khaled and Freeway. Collaborations continued with Mary J. Blige, Fabolous, Birdman, and Busta Rhymes, among others. In 2015, he released Top 5 Dead or Alive, his most recent studio album featuring guest appearances by Chris Brown, Rick Ross, and Lil’ Wayne.
