Born in England, on June 30, 1988, singer, producer, and songwriter Jai Paul grew up in Northwest London frequently making music as a teen. A demo for his song BTSTU received coverage online which led to him signing a deal with XL records in 2010. He released a song in 2012 titled Jasmine.
After his work was stolen and distributed online in 2013 he only returned in 2019 by releasing the 16 stolen tracks as well as 2 new songs, He and Do You Love Her Now. Jai’s brother, A.K Paul, is also an artist also known as Anup worked with his brother on his singles contributing with production and guitar work. The brothers continue to work behind the scenes and announced in 2016 a new project called the Paul Institute alongside mutual friend, Muz Azxar.
