James Pickens Jr. Bio
James Pickens Jr. was born on October 26th 1954 in Cleveland Ohio and is an American actor. Holding a Fine Arts Degree from BGSU Pickens Jr began his career with theatre shows such as A Raisin in the Sun and starred alongside A Soldier’s Play alongside Denzel Washington and Samuel L. Jackson.
Pickens then went on to play Chick in Roseanne, Henry Thomas in Beverly Hills, 90210 as well as The Practice, Seinfeld and The X-Files as Alvin Kersh as well as Clyde in the hit show Philly before his breakthrough role as Richard Webber on the long running television show Grey’s Anatomy for which he has won many awards including a Satellite Award and SAG Award. The actor is also expected to be a part of the continuation of Roseanne in 2018.
