Javicia Leslie Bio
Javicia Leslie is a German actress born on 30 May, 1987, in Augsburg, Germany. The actress moved to Maryland at an early age and attended Hampton University. While at University she appeared in numerous on-stage productions including Chicago, Seven Guitarists, and for colored girls. After graduating, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting.
Javicia landed her first major role in 2016, in the film Swim at Your Own Risk. She also appeared in TV series shows including God Friended Me and Family Business between 2018-2020. Her major international breakthrough was in the superhero tv series Batwoman where she portrayed the role of Ryan Wilder aka Batwoman in 2021. Javicia also played a part in the television special titled Make it Work! in 2020 and MacGyver in 2017-2018.
