Jay Chandrasekhar Bio
Jay Chandrasekhar is an American comedian, film director, screenwriter, and actor born in Chicago, Illinois on April 9, 1968. He is best known for his work with the sketch comedy group Broken Lizard, who have created the films Super Troopers, Super Troopers 2, Beerfest, and Club Dread. While in college, he would perform at open-mics in Chicago and was part of the comedy troupe Charred Goosebeak. After graduating from college, Chandrasekhar helped to form Broken Lizard with former members of the comedy troupe Charred Goosebeak. The group started making shorts and in 1996 made their first self-funded movie Puddle Cruiser. They have since created a number of films, including Super Troopers, Super Troopers 2, Beerfest and more. Apart from Broken Lizard, and Chandrasekhar. Jay has directed a number of television shows like Undeclared, Oliver Beene, Cracking Up, Human Giant, Knight Rider, Blue Mountain State, Chuck, Ben & Kate, The Grinder, The Mayor, Instinct, New Girl, Single Parents, Schooled and others. He has also acted in a number of television shows, including Community, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Royal Pains, Psych, Welcome to the Parker, Nailed It, Family Guy and more.
