Jeff Green was born in Cheverly, Maryland on August 28, 1986. He went to Georgetown University. He made his NBA debut on October 31, 2007. He was part of the first team All-Rookie in the 2007-08 season. He was also part of the NCAA AP All-America third team in the 2006-07 season. Green was the first round pick of the Boston Celtics in the 2007 NBA Draft. He was traded to the Seattle Supersonics in the same year. He played for the Oklahoma City Thunder in the 2008-09 season and was traded to Boston Celtics in the 2010-11 season. Green also played for the Memphis Grizzlies, Los Angeles Clippers, Orlando Magic, Cleveland Cavaliers and in 2018 he signed a one-year contract with the Washington Wizards as a free agent.
