Jeremy Strong Bio

Jeremy Strong was born on December 25, 1978 in Boston, Massachusetts. His training includes stints at Yale, The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, and the Steppenwolf Theatre Company. He is proud to share that he worked as Daniel Day Lewis’s personal assistant in a 2005 film, which probably helped him gain some popularity in the acting world. He played the lead role in his first credited film appearance, Humboldt County, which was released in 2008.

He has starred in huge hit films such as Zero Dark Thirty, which also features Jason Clarke and Jessica Chastain. He also appeared in mainstream media shows including The Good Wife and Masters of Sex. Though his filmography history is not as extensive as most big-name actors, he has starred in four films that have been nominated for the Best Picture Oscar, including Lincoln and Selma. He won the Ensemble Cast Award at the Palm Springs International Film Festival for his part in 2015’s The Big Short, which also featured Steve Carell and Brad Pitt.
