Jireel Bio
Jireel, real name Jireel Lavia Pereira, is a rapper born on 29th March 2000 in Angola, although he is currently based in Sweden. He released his first EP, titled “Jettad” in 2017. The following year, he released his debut album “18”, which earned him the Grammis Award for Hip Hop/Soul of the Year. This was his second Grammis award after being honored with “The New Artist of the Year” in 2018.
Jireel’s second studio album, titled “Sex känslor”, was released the following year. The album contained the singled “For evigt” “Relationer”, “Cherie”, and “Gav allt”. The album reached number five on the Swedish Albums Chart. Jireel has also been featured in many singles, including “Si ingenting Nivymix” in 2016, “Hey Baby” (remix) in 2017, “Saga mig” in 2018, “Bedova mig” in 2019, “So moss” in 2019, and “Sanka” in 2021.
