JJ Lin Bio

JJ Lin, also known as Lin Jun-jie, is a Singaporean Mandopop artist born in 1981. His solo debut album “Music Voyager” went out in 2003 and won a Taiwan Melody Golden Award for Best New Artist. Singapore’s Hit Awards also recognized Lin’s sophomore effort “Second Heaven”, and prompted him to perform at the National Day Parade. The full-length “No. 89757” came in 2005 and earned four prizes at the aforementioned Singaporean awards. The artist’s influence expanded into China with “Cao Cao” (2006) and “West Side” (2007), and by 2011 he had signed with Warner’s Taiwan affiliate. In 2013 Lin had Leehom Wang and the band Mayday! as guests in his full-length “Stories Untold”, followed shortly after by “From M.E. to Myself”. This album also won multiple prizes, including a Pensado award in the U.S., and by 2018 the artist had contributed with a Mandarin version of the international hit “Despacito”.
