Jody Wisternoff Bio
Jody Wisternoff is an English DJ, record producer and remixer. He was born Joseph Wisternoff on the 25th of November, 1973, in Bristol, England. Wisternoff has been a major player in the British electronic music industry since the 1990s, and he is also known as part of the duo Way Out West. Wisternoff began his musical career in the late 1980s, as part of the group Tru Funk Posse, before starting to mix and perform at clubs like Fantasia and Universe in Bristol. He formed another duo, this time with DJ Nick Warren in the early 1990s and they started producing singles like “The Gift” and “Ajare”. They released their debut self-titled album in 1997, and from there to 2020, they released two more studio albums and 8 compilations. They have done collaborations with artists such as Hendrik Burkhard and they have remixed songs for many artists including Moussa Clarke and Astral Tiger.
