Joel Osteen Bio
Joel Scott Osteen, an American pastor, televangelist, and author who was born and raised in Houston, Texas on March 5th, 1963. Osteen is one of the most renowned individuals linked with prosperity theology. He is known for his weekly televised services as well as multiple books that have been top sellers. The televangelist pastor gives broadcasts from Lakewood Church, a megachurch located in Houston, Texas. These broadcasts are viewed by millions of people. He is the author of many books that have been named New York Times Bestselling Books, one of which is titled Your Best Life Now and was published in 2004. This book was on the list for more than 200 weeks. In 1982, while he was just 20 years old, he started working as a television producer for Lakewood Church. In addition, Barbara Walters included him on her list of the Top Ten Most Fascinating People of 2006.
