John Krasinski Bio

John Krasinski was born on October 20, 1979 in Newton, Massachusetts. An actor as well as a producer, he originally had to make do with small guest roles or working in commercials. This changed when he landed the role of Jim Halpert in The Office (2005- 2013), alongside Jenna Fischer who played Pam Beesley. During this run, he was nominated for several awards and won four Screen Actors Guild awards for Best Supporting Comedy Actor. As time went on, he also managed to direct a couple of episodes of the same show in later series showing off his vast array of talents.

As his profile and fan base grew, so did his filmography. To date, he has starred in number of films including The Holiday (2006), License to Wed (2007), It’s Complicated (2009) and Big Miracle (2012). Not content with acting roles, he has again starred off screen as well with his major directorial debut The Hollars (2016).
