John Oliver Bio
John Oliver is an English actor, television host, comedian, writer and producer. Starting with a career as a stand-up comedian, Oliver was well known in the United Kingdom and The United States. The actor hosted four seasons of John Oliver’s New York Stand Up Show so far, running from 2010-2013, for Comedy Central.
With many credits in television and film, the actor and comedian is best known for his work on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart as its British Correspondent. He will next be seen in Disney’s animated remake of it’s classic The Lion King as Zazu and the television show Last Week Tonight with John Oliver. With over 45 nominations for various awards, Oliver has won 24 of these awards, including ten Primetime Emmys.
