Josef Newgarden Bio
Josef Nicolai Newgarden is an American racing driver best known for his time as a full-time racer on the IndyCar Series. He was born in Nashville, Tennessee, United State, on December 22, 1990.
Josef began competing in karting races in 2005, and he quickly became a regular on the American karting circuit. Between 2006 and 2012, he made his way to the IndyCar Series through the competitions Skip Barber National, Formula Ford Festival, Formula Palmer Audi, British Formula Ford Championship, GP3 Series, and Indy Lights. Since his IndyCar debut, Josef has teamed up with racers like Scott McLaughlin and Will Power and won two IndyCar series, 2017 and 2019.
