Karl-Anthony Towns Bio
Karl-Anthony Towns Jr. was born on November 15, 1995 in Edison, New Jersey. He is a Dominican-American professional basketball player. Karl-Anthony Towns played High School basketball at St. Joseph (Metuchen, New Jersey) and college basketball for the University of Kentucky. He joined the Minnesota Timberwolves of the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a center.
He won the NBA Rookie of the Year (2016), NBA All-Rookie First Team (2016), NBA Skills Challenge champion (2016), Consensus second-team All-American (2015), SEC Freshman of the Year (2015), First-team All-SEC (2015), Gatorade National Player of the Year (2014), McDonald’s All-American (2014) and Parade All-American Centrobasket. He also won a Gold Medal representing the Dominican Republic at the Men’s basketball Centrobasket in 2012.
