Kelly Olynyk Bio
Kelly Tyler Olynyk is a Canadian professional basketball player who plays as a power forward and center in the NBA. He was born in Toronto, Canada, on April 19, 1991. Kelly spent his formative years playing for École Secondaire South Kamloops Secondary School and Gonzaga University, and he turned professional in 2013 when he was selected by the Dallas Mavericks in the first round of the NBA Draft. Kelly has since represented the Boston Celtics, Miami Heat, Houston Rockets, and Detroit Pistons, and throughout his time with the Detroit Pistons, he played alongside Cade Cunningham, Jerami Grant, Saddiq Bey, Luka Garaza, and Killian Hayes. Kelly’s career highlights include NBA All-Rookie Second Team, First-team Academic All-American, WCC Player of the Year, and a gold medal with Canada at the 2015 FIBA AmeriCup.
