Costner is skilled in music and song writing even during his acting years. 20 years ago, Costner met John Coinman in Los Angeles, where they started to write and play music forming a band called “Roving Boy.”
But Costner became busy on his acting career that he was unable to pursue his music career. However, his bandmates continued to make music behind the scenes. In August 2005, Costner had the urge to perform regularly again, leading to the release of their album “Untold Truths.”
