Kevin Sorbo, born Kevin David Sorbo, is an American actor who was born on September 24, 1958, in Mound, Minnesota. He began his career in the entertainment industry during the 1990s appearing in over a hundred commercials. During the beginning of that same decade, he started acting, debuting on an episode of the tv series “1st & Ten”. After appearing in several series and movies he became popular around 1994 when he starred in a series of Hercules movies alongside Anthony Quinn and Tawny Kitaen. He then starred in the TV series “Hercules: The Legendary Journeys” opposite Michael Hurst and Kevin Smith between 1995 and 1999 and between 2000 and 2005 he starred in the show “Andromeda”. He also received several awards, including 6 awards at the Christian Film Festival-Menchville Baptist Church for the movies The Reliant in 2019 and One Nation Under God in 2020.
