Kílian Jornet Burgada is a Spanish long-distance runner, ski mountaineer, actor and writer who was born on October 27th 1987 in Spain. Jornet rose to fame as one of the world’s best trail runners who won the SkyRunner World Series multiple times and had a streak that lasted from 2007 to 2009. He is also the record holder for the fastest ascent and descent for mountains like Mont Blanc and Matterhorn. As a ski mountaineer, he competed in the La Molina race of the 2000 Spanish Cup. As an actor and writer, he is best known for his work on Summits of My Life: A Fine Line (2012), Kilian (2016) and Déjame Vivir (2014).
