Kim Wilde, born Kim Smith on the 18th of November 1960 in Middlesex is an English singer, author television presenter and DJ. In 1981 her debut single Kids in America reached the number two spot in the United Kingdom, the song then led to her winning a Brit Award, which she followed up with her cover of You keep Me Hanging On.
Between the years of 1981 to 1996 Wilde had 25 of her singles reach the top 50 of the United Kingdom’s singles charts. Worldwide she has sold over 10 million albums and over 20 million singles, with fourteen albums released her most recent is Here Come the Aliens, released in 2018 and Wilde Winter Songbook released in 2013.
