Kimberly Williams-Paisley Bio

Nicknamed Kim, the American actress and producer was born on 14 September 1971 in Rye, New York as Kimberly Payne Williams. She is known for her roles in According to Jim (2001) alongside actor Jim Belushi, Father of the Bride (1991) alongside award-winning Steve Martin, and the short film Shade (2006) in which she not only starred but wrote and directed as well.

Kim graduated from Northwestern University in Illinois with a drama degree. She made her directorial debut in 2014 by directing The Sleepwalker. Kim won the Crystal Heart Award for her short film Shade at the Heartland International Film Festival, the film also earned her the Director's Choice Award in 2006 at the Sedona International Film Festival. She has had multiple nominations since 1997.
