Kiran + Nivi Bio
Kiran + Nivi are fraternal twin sisters born on November 26th 1999 in Eindhoven, Netherlands. They are of Indian descent but were born in the Netherlands and raised in Southern California, United States. The pair grew up singing in their church and later decided to pursue a music career.
The pair creates covers for popular American songs and already records their very own original songs. Their original track Is There Peace? was released in July 2020, two years after they launched their YouTube channel. The pair has experimented with songs from various hit artists like Sia, Jason Derulo and Coldplay. One of the most popular videos on YouTube is a cover for Olivia Rodrigo’s Drivers License.
The sisters have enjoyed multiple successful concerts and stage sessions. They were also finalists in the 2012 Carnatic Music Idol USA and they won the 2015 Carnatic premier league in the duo category. They also won first and second places in several categories including, the concert competition and Advanced Pallavi competition in Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana. In 2018 they won the Best Young Artist from Valayapatti Sabha in December Season.
