Kishwers Merchant Bio
Kishwer Merchant (born February 18, 1981 in Bombay, Maharashtra, India) is an Indian television actress and model. She is most renowned for her roles in the shows Ek Hasina Thi and Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyaar. She was also a participant in season nine of the reality show Bigg Boss where she was paired with Aman Yatan Verma.
Merchant started her acting career in 1997 with the TV drama series ‘Shaktimaan’. She then appeared as Nonie on Zee TV’s teen drama ‘Hip Hip Hurray’. After this, she went on to star in numerous productions including ‘Babul Ki Duayen Leti Jaa’, ‘Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand’, ‘Kutumb’ and ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’. In 2002, she appeared as Dr. Aditi on Sony TV’s ‘Dhadkan’ and as Malini on the drama ‘Piya Ka Ghar’.
From 2003 to 2009, Merchant appeared on several shows including ‘Kayaamat’,’ Hatim’, ‘Khichdi’, ‘Sarabhai vs Sarabhai’, ‘Instant Khichdi’, ‘Miley Jab Hum Tum’, and ‘Namak Haraam’. In 2013, she played Rama in the ‘Hongey Judaa Na Hum’ series and Zelna in Life OK’s adventure-fiction drama ‘Hatim’. In 2014, she appeared as a contestant in the reality show ‘Bigg Boss 9’.
