Krept, who was born as Casyo Valentine Johnson, is a British and Jamaican rapper who was born on February 4, 1990, in Gipsy Hill, London, England. He is part of the famous hip-hop duo called Krept and Konan, which is based in London alongside partner and friend Karl Dominic Wilson, popularly known as Konan.

The duo came together in 2009 and released its first mixtape called Redrum the following year. Later that year, they published their second mixtape called Tsunami, which features popular artists Ghetts, Giggs, Scorcher, and Lil Nova. However, the duo jumped to fame in 2011 when they uploaded a cover of Jay-Z and Kanye West song “Otis”, followed by a cover of Lil Wayne and Drake song “The Motto. In 2013 they released their third mixtape titled Young Kingz, which achieved #19 on the UK album chart. Their first full-length album called The Long Way Home came out in 2015, ranked #2 at UK album chart and received silver album recognition. They also have a mixtape with silver recognition, which was released in 2017 and it's titled 7 Days.
