La La Anthony Bio
La La Anthony, born Alani Nicole Vazquez on June the 25th 1979 in New York and is a television personality, author, businesswoman, actress and producer. The artist’s career began in the early 2000’s when she appeared as a VJ for MTV’s Total Request live, then going on to an acting career, her film roles include 2001’s romantic comedy, Two Can Play That Game, the dance drama, You Got Served, and the romantic comedy, Think Like a Man and it’s sequel in which she starred alongside an ensemble cast that featured Gabrielle Union and Regina Hall.
Star of the reality television special, La La’s Full Court Wedding and the television series, La La’s Full Court Life, she went on to portray Lakeisha Grant in the crime drama series, Power between 2014-2018. Anthony’s debut book, The Love Playbook became a fixture on The New York Times Best seller list in 2014.
